[Little Nightmares 2]

TIL that AfroNinja has a Newgrounds!

Regarding this art, it's pretty solid! I'm a big fan of hair that covers the eyes (because I think it's cute). I admit, I'm not familiar with either of these two characters - let alone Little Nightmares. The character on the right is absolutely adorable (and he looks like he needs a hug). The background is also very fitting and fills up the negative space very nicely.

[Dreamy]

My only criticism of this art is that the background is a bit boring. Everything else, though? MWAH! The character's skin is very life-like, the fish look like they're actually swimming on air (like as if the world is their ocean), and you even added a cute little mole to her that I didn't notice until I started making this comment. Amazing work, hands down.

Thank you so much! Yeah initially I wanted to do something for the background but felt it would lose your focus on the character, so I just kept it to a simple concept instead. Thanks for the criticism, it does help a lot!

[Blood Magic]

This straight up looks like something I'd like to see on the box art of a horror video game. I love this so much! I'm not very good when it comes to painting, but it's very clear that you're a natural when it comes to painting. Artists like you keep me going. :)

Your OC looks like something you'd get if you combined Princess Morbucks with Blossom and Madoka Magica - and I absolutely love it. The only thing I have to say about your art that can be improved upon is to add more detail to the background, though - just enough so it adds more life to the portrait without it distracting your viewers from the characters themselves. Other than that, this is some solid artwork, dude. <3

it's always really humbling to hear my work compared to the powerpuff girls, which is one of my biggest influences. though you're absolutely right that i'm a lazy ass when it comes to the backgrounds. this was just something i did to get the colors down, so i didn't really think to do a background. not that it's any excuse. either way, i earnestly appreciate your enthusiasm.

I love the work you put into this meme. You even added the $19 on the card, you madlad!

The background for the portrait below the first one looks a bit blank compared to the one on the top, and the hands look a bit rushed as well. Other than that, this is a very solid piece of art.

My favorite part about this character is her hair. HOLY GOD I WANT HAIR LIKE THAT. <3

[BB Hood]

The hair is great, the shading is good, and the radiant detail is just... MWAH! The blue in her left eye sorta bleeds into her face, but this still gets a solid 5/5 from me because, admittedly, you're on a higher tier than me.

[Meru the Succubus (Schoolgirl)]

This is a very nice character portrait! Meru would definitely be very comfortable in the Fantaji metaverse, given that demons in the Realm of Pulchra are everyday people, just like humans and such. I'm surprised I've not seen this until just now, regardless of the fact that I'm new to the platform, because awesome art deserves to be noticed the moment it pops outta the oven, if possible. Keep up the great work. :)

[Widowmaker]

I do admit, I don't have high hopes for Overwatch 2, but the character designs are still absolutely golden. Drawings like these are admittedly not my cup of tea, but I respect artistic freedom nonetheless because I think it's fair and fun for everyone that way.

The shading is nice, but the background makes it a bit too much like a sketch, no offense intended. Other than that, this is really well done.

No offense taken, I appreciate the comment! I’ve really just been ignoring backgrounds so that’s definitely something I’ll start putting some practice into.

I’m trying to stay optimistic about OW2, I think some of the changes they’re putting in look fun. Fingers crossed.
